AT&T Alaska High Speed Internet Email Service Customers using email clients must update their inbound and outbound email server settings as of June 30, 2011.

Depending on the email client, some settings are not required and therefore may be unavailable.

New Mail Client Settings:

SMTP Server : mail.attalaska.net

POP3 Server : mail.attalaska.net

IMAP Server : mail.attalaska.net

Instructions to locate these settings can be found for various email clients below:

Entourage 2004 Version 11.0.0

  1. Click on the Entourage Menu.
  2. Select Account Settings.
  3. Under the Mail tab, select your email account.
  4. Click the Edit button and make the required changes.

Mac OSX Mail

  1. Open the Mac OS-X desktop
  2. Click on the Mail icon
  3. Click on the menu marked Mail
  4. Go to Preferences
  5. Go to Accounts
  6. In Accounts you can adjust mail settings.

Netscape 7.2

  1. Open Browser
  2. Open Mail Program - One way to open the mail program is by clicking Windows, then on the Mail &Newsgroups
  3. Click on View settings for this account and make required changes
  4. Click OK

Outlook Express

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Click on Accounts
  4. Click on the Mail tab
  5. Ensure your mail account is highlighted and click on Properties
  6. * Click on Servers tab and make changes
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Close
  9. Close and restart your Outlook Express program.

Outlook 2002/ 2003

  1. Open Outlook 2002/ 2003
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Click on Email Accounts
  4. Ensure View or change existing email accounts is checked
  5. Click Next
  6. Highlight your email account,
  7. Click Change
  8. Apply server settings.
  9. Click OK
  10. Click Next,
  11. Repeat the above steps if you have more than one email account, or
  12. Click finish

Outlook 2000

  1. Open Outlook 2000
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Click on Accounts
  4. If needed click on the Mail tab
  5. Highlight the email address and click on the Properties button
  6. Click on the Servers tab and make required changes.
  7. Click OK

Thunderbird 1.5

  1. Open Program
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Click on Account Settings
  4. Highlight the email account
  5. Click on Edit
  6. Make required server changes.
  7. Click OK

Windows Vista Email - Version 6

  1. Click on Start button, Click on Windows Mail
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Click on Accounts
  4. Highlight the email account
  5. Click on Properties
  6. Click on Servers tab and make required changes
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Close
